Originally creating jewelry for her friends and loved ones, Justine Clenquet launched her eponym brand at the age of eighteen, in 2010, while studying at Duperré art school in Paris.
Her underground references in aesthetics and culture always inspire and guide her creations: the brand is an unusual confrontation between femininity and masculinity, mixing universes and styles, reinterpreting punk pieces with a glamorous touch.
Spotted by the iconic American concept-store Opening Ceremony, the brand has since been developing its strong aesthetics which has seduced numerous stores worldwide such as SSENSE in Canada, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées in Paris, Isetan in Tokyo or 10Corsocomo in Seoul, as well as artists like Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Isamaya Ffrench, Petra Collins and more.
The items are handmade in France with brass dipped in 24k pale gold, palladium and Swarovski crystals. They are adjustable and can be worn in many different ways—a choker becomes a bracelet and earrings can be mixed up.
